Movie Reviews of The Lord of the Rings

Movie Review: excellent
Summary: 5 Stars

If you like the Lord of the Rings, then I don't understand how you can't like this movie. It is one of the finest animated movies ever made, period. Yes, they cram two books into one two hour movie, who cares?? It is still the Lord of the Rings man! Also, we all have a picture in our minds of what things looked and sounded like from these incredible books, (as it should be) but are the drawings that far off?? Of course not, every single drawing I've ever seen from these books (about six artists worth) are all similar, and if you disagree, then you need to have your vision checked. To conclude: If you love Lord of the Rings, then you WILL enjoy this!!

Movie Review: Mismatched set, but all in all a good one.
Summary: 5 Stars

Both the Hobbit and the Return of the King are more for kids, as I remembered them. That is who I bought it for, and they loved it. The middle movie, titled The Lord of the Rings, was meant for a little older audience but falls short, yet fails to keep the kids as interested. Being a fan of cinema, I love it for the originality of it's production method. And, as a fan of the book I must point out that it, yet much more abridged, sticks closer to the book's storyline. All in all, if you love the Lord of the Rings, you'll enjoy this series. Just remember that the middle movie is a bit more violent and less kid friendly.

Movie Review: Hoping I get it for Christmas, I already do have "The Return Of The King".
Summary: 5 Stars

It's true, I do have "The Return Of The King" animated version and it's kind of weird, awful and yet somewhow great! I mean I do love the songs in it, and the fact that the only scene that remained the same was when Frodo left for the Gray Havens and the scene where the Ring was destroyed. I am a little dissapointed that you don't get to see Faramir in the first animated film or Eowyn. But, hey! We still do get Grima Wormtongue, King Theoden and yet of course, the stupid Gollum! I heard in this that he looks like he did in The Hobbit, just a thought. I just really do indeed pray and hope for this, I do you guys, chow!

Movie Review: The best Animation yet and its over 20 years old!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have a copy of the original and I still watch it to date. Even with the lines and static, I enjoy the story and the animation. This movie has the most realistic animation than anything ever produced. It buries the new computer generated animation as well as the Japanese stuff that gets all the hype today. I have read the books three times and even thought the story was changed a bit, it doesn't leave out the important stuff. Not bad taking two 500+ page books and makeing a 2 1/2 hour movie. Definately buy this and at [price] you can't beat it.

Movie Review: The Lord Of The Rings CLASSIC
Summary: 5 Stars

This Lord Of The Rings film has only one problem. Many people are just pure blind to how amazing it really is. It's a crime that the second part of this cartoon was never finished. There are so many people who critisize it, but I believe it's about time it is just accepted as a master piece and has it's rightful place in The Lord Of The Rings HISTORY. This brilliant cartoon shows how a book can be translated to a film possitively. You would be a fool not to enjoy this sacred part of history which now belongs in The Lord Of The Rings World.
