Movie Review: Utter trash

If I could have given it zero stars, I would have. A complete botch of adapting of an excellent novel to film. The major plot line of intermural skullduggery between British spy agencies was dumped rendering Anthony Hopkins excellent performance inexplicable. Add in the worst counter-culture nonsense idyll on film since the pointless Death Valley ramble in Antonioni's "Zabriski Point". The horror... The horror...Movie Review: Not worth watching

I thought that with Hopkins it would be at least fair, but it is typical of the worst of British productions - slow, wandering, insipid.
