Movie Review: Two Funny Underrated Comedies,Starring One Gifted Comedian

Tim Conway is A gifted,and hilarious Comedian.In this DVD set,you get 2 great films that he starred in,as well as wrote the screenplay for.In"The LongShot"(1985),Tim teams up with veteran comedy actors;Harvey Korman,Jack Weston,and Ted Wass,in A hilarious film about horse racing.Four Middle class losers,get A hot tip on A horse.Only problem,they must borrow$5,000,from A"Break Your Legs"loan shark.Can they strike it rich;or will they be struck down by A crazy mob boss?It's high laughs,on and off the track,as Tim Conway reteams with "Carol Burnett Show"co-star Harvey Korman.The Second feature is the lesser known,but equally funny comedy"They Went That A Way&That A Way" from 1978.This time Tim teams up with veteran character actor,and comedian,Chuck Mccann,to play A pair of dim witted cops,who try to infiltrate A corrupt prison.All Hilarity breaks loose,as the cops,get mistaken for real cons,and must find A way to break out.Many good gags,including A wild finale,that must be seen to be believed.If you like Tim Conway,then I highly recommend this box set;4 stars.
