Movie Review: The Lone Gunmen DVD's-A Real Disappointment

Not good. I thought since the Lone Gunmen was an off shoot from the X File series, the plots for the Lone Gunmen movies would be good. I was wrong and very disappointed. The plots were shallow, unrealistic, and at times, were ridiculous. I think the only movie that was passable was the last one in which he Gunmen are infected by an airborne virus carried by a terrorist. Otherwise, I'm really sorry to have bought this set of DVDs. I know why this series only lasted a few weeks on TV. Movie Review: Primo!!!

Loved it... Didn't realize that I missed so many episodes so many years ago... The pilot is absolutely spokey and a must watch... Can't say more, don't want to spoil it...
Could never understand Jimmy Bond's place as a character but I now understand... It's too bad this series died like it did, or did the threesome actually die... Level 5 coffins would look different...
Highly recommended, even to people that didn't like X-Files. This series wasn't an 'X-Files junior' by any means and stands on its own merits quite nicely. If anything, it came off as more human and the episodes were not so squirmy and squishy as X-Files were...
This series ranks up there with Pretender as one that I'd love to see return from the dead...
I'd highly recommend purchase, if only for the pilot epi...

If your a fan of the X-files , this series is a no brainer. The lone gunman were always good on X-files and to watch them in their own series is great. I wish they had tied Moulder and Scully into more of the episodes aside from just mentioning their names.Movie Review: HYSTERICAL

This is a good spin-off. If you like "The X-Files", then you'll like this. While the plots in each episode never really manage to delve too awfully deep into anything, unlike it's counter-part, it still makes for an entertaining experience.
