Movie Review: Great also for 7-and-8-year-old kids.

I was uncertain about buying this DVD for my 7-and-a-half-year-old daughter, because most of the reviews make reference to a much younger audience. I did buy it, and it was 100% success with my daughter who wanted to watch it again right after it was over! I love that, as opposed to so many movies out there, this is wholesome entertainment for my children.

I am 14 years old and when i was 4 i got very sick with asthma and I would be up all night coughing! my dad would come and get me at 2:00 in the morning and we would sit and watch little bear! it doesn't come on tv anymore so when I heard about the movie I had to buy it! An incredibly sweet and innocent movie with kind, loving characters. The music is so beautiful and soothing. My 2-year old and 4-year old love this DVD. We have so many kid's DVDs, and this is by far my favorite. It is so endearing and NEVER gets on my nerves like other kids shows do. This is my 2 1/2-year-old daughter's favorite movie. She loves "Little Bear" more than any other TV program, and I wholeheartedly support it. This movie is just like the TV program, with the same messages -- love of family and friends, as well as the fostering of imaginative play. In the "Little Bear" movie the world is good, no television, electronics games, no radio just wholesome bond between mother ,father and son.I wish those days!
