Movie Review: continuing classic, very well done...impressed.
Summary: 5 Stars
i was not sure how this movie would be; assuming that it would be all "disney-ed" up (even though not done by disney) or just plain poorly done, but it was just as good as the little bear television series. i have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter who is VERY sensitive and this was not scary for her at all; i dont agree with the other writer that it was too scary. it was very well put together; tastefully done. it stayed in step with the television series with its beautiful music, and very nicely done was the one song sung by shaun colwin(not sure if i got the name right) but it was a very good, appropriate song; not mushy or dramatic; just very simple and quiet. all of the character voices were the same, as were their personalities and i was very pleased with it. There was a mountain lion in the movie and it was "understood" that he meant danger and that he was trouble but it never showed any fighting, attacking or anything of the sort. The story line was a very simple one with a very simple lesson taught. The only main character missing was Emily but it was so well done she wasnt missed. We rented it from the library but after being so impressed with it we will be buying it from Amazon. Very appropriate and a must have staple in your video collection. In my final opinion; puts those disney films, which have these bogus one liners that they cram into advertising and your children's minds, to shame.Movie Review: Little Bear to the RESCUE!

This movie is fantastic for all ages. It was purchased for a 3 year old, but his older brother is 6 and likes it as well. Actually, the whole family has been watching it. It is such a cute story. The boys stay glued to the screen while it's on.
It's nice to find a DVD with Little Bear because the younger boy had been crying to watch him all day long. He simply didn't understand why it couldn't be on TV all the time.
We thought and thought on a special gift to buy for his 3rd birthday. At the last minute (literally the day before), we found the Little Bear DVDs at Amazon. Lucky for us, Amazon has amazing shipping and we were able to receive them the next day before the party. We're extremely pleased with the quality of the movie and service from Amazon.
Little Bear saved the day!!
Movie Review: Godd family fun and good music for the music lover

I don't typically review these movies, but after reading the review from a parent who hated it and liked The Backyardigans (who I also love) and Lazytown (who I have lesser feelings for) better, I had to put in my two cents. The family values and messages with Little Beear are WONDERFUL! I am not going to say that things have not come up with my very literal minded 2 year old that I wish hadn't (Like making a mark on the wall for your height), but all in all the messages are good ones. Also, unlike Lazytown, which is pumped up music all the time, I can listen to Little Bear in the background and NOT get a headache. I would Highly recommend this movie to anyone and suggest to that other parent that they take a music appreciation course.Movie Review: A very cute movie!

I've been a huge fan of Little Bear since I was 6, and I'm still a big fan even though I'm 13 now. When I heard there was going to be a Little Bear movie, I was thrilled, and couldn't wait to buy it. My dad got it for me at the mall, and when I watched it, I loved it. It begins when Little Bear and Father Bear are going camping in the wilderness, and Little Bear meets a new friend, a little bear named Cub. Cub and Little Bear become fast friends. Soon Little Bear discovers that Cub was seperated from his parents in a storm, and he helps his new friend find them. It's a very sweet movie for all ages, and I can't stop watching it! I recommend this movie to any Little Bear fan! :)Movie Review: Casper

We were SO excited to find these on Amazon. My 3 and a half year old grandson has loved Little Bear nearly half his life. No Little Bear DVDs in the shops here and the tapes mama made from the TV have nearly worn out. The US dvds played on our Aus player perfectly. The Little Bear stories are delightful, gently paced, kindly humorous and, although a teensy bit sexist in places, have more moral depth to them than a lot of stuff for preschoolers. This movie does have a short passage that Casper finds a bit scary and we turn that part off for him. Otherwise we are happy for Casper to watch the rest of the movie.
