Movie Reviews of The Librarian - Return to King Solomon's MinesMovie Review: Old fashioned adventure in a modern setting Summary: 4 StarsThis is a made for cable movie with production values, performances and overall craftsmanship you would expect from a major studio film. If you like Indy, Lara, and Allan (Jones, Croft, and Quatermain, respectively) you are going to have a great time with this movie!
Noah Wyle is more than likeable as the Librarian Flynn Carson, with a great supporting cast including Jane Curtain and Bob Newhart. The story is solidly written and makes for a great night at the movies, especially if you are looking for something kid-friendly but not childish.
I also own the first Librarian and can give it the same high marks for quality, originality and class. In short, add it to your collection of high adventure films; it sits nicely with the best of them!
Movie Review: The librarian-return to king solomon's mines Summary: 4 StarsThis is the second dvd in the Librarian series and it was very enjoyable. Has enough action and comedy to keep you entertained.
Movie Review: Return to King Solomon's Mines Summary: 5 StarsThis series is turning out to be a fun family movie series. My husband read the books as a child and we both are enjoying the 2 movies that have been released.
Movie Review: the librarian-return to king solomon's mines Summary: 4 Starsfound it to be an entertaining blend of facts and fiction.the main character ,played by Noah Wylie, is no little old lady that seems to be the common idea of a librarian. this over achiever(21 degrees) is no book worm only ,but the man to protect and collect the legendary artifacts of our world. The light hearted approach to peril and the other characters made it an enjoyable piece .
Movie Review: INDIANA NOAH Summary: 4 StarsFollowing the success of the first TNT LIBRARIAN movie, this sequel is more Indiana Jonesish in its concept and its main strength is the casually effective performance from Noah Wyle as the nerdish but still attractive hero.
This time around, he's off to find the legendary King Solomon's mines, aided and/or abetted by a lovely archaeologist (an understated Gabrielle Anwar) and his late father's best frienc (Robert Foxworth). It all plays out like a Saturday matinee serial from the fifties, but it is fun to spend time with. Wish they'd given Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin a little more to do, but they're still effective.
