Movie Review: Last Starfighter DVD, not the HD DVD version
Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of the greatest movies I have ever seen. I see that some people have made an error as the manufacture has and listed The Last Starfighter DVD as poor when the DVD is very good with Lance Guest giving a special on the effects that made the Last Starfighter what it is.
Be careful not to Buy the HD DVD version.

I ORIGINALLY COPIED THIS FILM OFF OF HBO ON MY VCR ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO. WE SAW IT AT THE THEATER TWO TIMES WHEN IT FIRST WAS RELEASED. WE MADE AN AUDIO TAPE OF THE ENTIRE SOUNDTRACK AND MY TWO YOUNGEST KIDS LISTENED TO IT EVERY NIGHT AT BED TIME. I STILL HAVE THE AUDIO COPY, BUT MY VIDEO WORE OUT, SO I HAD TO HAVE ANOTHER COPY.Movie Review: We've waited long enough!

I could go on and on about how cool this movie is but I'll leave that to the other reviews. I'm just happy that at long last we now have a copy of The Last Starfighter on DVD *AND* in widescreen format to boot! And being a Universal DVD, the quality in both picture and sound are above-par, so this one's definitely a keeper.Movie Review: It is worth a 2nd, 3rd or more look!!

For anyone that hasn't seen this movie it is definitely worth a first look. For those that have seen it, see it again. Some of the actors are no longer with us on the earth but they definitely provided great entertainment and opened a whole new era of computer generated movie special effects with this great story.Movie Review: The Last Starfighter
