Movie Review: Terrific Movie - Why the high price?

...I see that the price has been brought into line with similar offers. Not sure if a new release or just new pricing, but I've placed my order!...I really did enjoy this movie and would recommend it to anyone interested in sci-fi or action genres. Also the trailer park boy saves universe theme is well done with Alex's grand entrance back into the trailer park positively a blast!
BUT - I just wonder why this DVD is so costly? It is priced entirely out of line with others having similar features. This isn't a good trend and has so far stopped me from buying it.

A campy classic from the 80's. Lots of fun for folks from that generation. I don't think many of today's kids will appreciate the "old" CG animation. It's very dated, and doesn't go at the pace of an MTV video, so I don't think many from this generation will be able to sit through it without getting ants in thier pants. But for anyone from my generation, you know, the 80's. When were wore more clothing than we needed too, and actually feared pissing off our parents. You'll enjoy it, as long as you're a SCI FI fan, and just enjoy what it is.Movie Review: One of my all time favorites!

The Last Starfighter is in my collection of DVD's along with "The Flight of the Navagator" and others. It's a silly happy feeling movie that brings a small tear to my eye as this type of movie brings memories of my kid years. "You can do or be anything you put your mind to". The film makes me feel good. My wife thinks it's funny that I like the movie but hey, I LIKE IT. If you just want to "loose" reality for a short time and enjoy make-beleive, just buy the movie, put it in the player, and enjoy with some popcorn and a soda. 8)Movie Review: Excellent, with a taste of cheese.

I know it's not out yet, but I just wanted to share some comments. My brother and I hold this movie as one of our favorites. With impressive special effects ( for the time), funny dialog, and believable characters (OK, Xur gets a little silly, but still), The Last Starfighter is a great one for all ages. The DVD promises to be the best version available yet, especially considering the only available version is a "censored" release with a very bad pan-and-scan job from F.H.E. I can't wait for this to come out.Movie Review: Yes,heroes are made of this...point!

What makes the true quality of a movie is ...did it leave a long lasting positive message in people's mind? This movie did! it is clean fun,got a great adventure but also reminds us that one person can make a difference and not a small one...simple message but true! Enjoy that movie again because at the end of the day,from its music score to the story,it will make you feel empowered for the day for sure! And if I am French and can dig that (I spent more than twelve years in the USA) then I know you will too...Au revoir...
