Movie Review: Fencing isn't taught at high school level in USA?
Summary: 3 Stars
How does a guy from the poor side of town find himself on a fencing team?
Like a lot of martial arts, they are taught in American public schools, but can be found in prep school for the rich upper class kids?
Here the hero is a fencing coach ( substitute) at an expensive private school in a castle on the beach front in Scotland.
He is on the run from his London criminal associates because of a lie told by one of them. His future seems really dim...
I liked the movie, but the acting and plot seem pretty unlikely to me.
Summary of The Last Musketeer
Top fencer Steve McTear (Robson Green) is about to fulfill his dream of joining the British World Championships fencing team when he meets and spends a passionate night with Dr. Elizabeth Fraser (Arkie Whiteley), the head of a girls' school in Scotland. When he is rejected from the squad, McTear is bitterly disappointed and drifts back into a past life of crime - until a fateful incident forces him to go on the run. Where better to hide than an exclusive girls' school in the Highlands?Robson Green stars as a man with a hidden past that threatens the dreams for his future. Steve McTear is a top fencer on the verge of reaching his goal of joining the British World Championship fencing team. His criminal past catches up with him and he ends up seeking refuge at an all girls' school as a fencing instructor.
