Movie Review: Classic!
Summary: 5 Stars
This is hands down, one of the best urban-type movies from the 1980's!! So much so that my brothers, cousins, friends and I still find ourselves making references to various scenes 'til this day. It was like we really lived this movie during our childhood, not to mention practiced some of 'Bruce Leroy's' martial art moves as well. Plus, he is just so handsome and charismatic with his "moves" in the movie, you'll fall in love with him and his character. I love this movie so much, I'm going to surprise my 2 brothers with a copy of this movie for each of them for X-mas this year!:)Movie Review: I got the glow!

Finally, I have been waiting on this DVD since I got my first dvd player three years ago. I love this movie and I don't care what anyone has to say. This movie combines martial arts, comedy and music to tell a story that could only happen in the BIG APPLE. Bruce LeRoy facing off against Sho Nuff to see who is the master. The 1985 movie has a good final sequence and all though a little corny at times that is part of its appeal. If I had ten thumbs I would give it ten thumbs up, but I only have two. I bought this movie for more in VHS format! All my friends think I'm crazy for ranking this as my favorite movie, but who cares. I was impressed with how clear the movie was. I watched the movie as a kid at the theaters, watched on it VHS and HBO (they use to always show it), now I have it in my DVD collection...I was looking all over for it. The only thing I wished this DVD had was more features to come along with it. If you want to impress your friends when they come over, pop this DVD in and they'll be awed."Who's the master?...SHO'NUFF!"

This is perhaps the greatest american kung fu movie EVER made!! It is a combination of motown music, harlem and some really well directed fight scenes. I have a celebratory viewing of it every week! I had despaired that I would wear out my copy and it would never be re-released. Thankfully, those of us who are cult followers of the "chocolate-covered yellow peril" can now rest at ease! Can you say "NO PICTURE DEGRADATION" on DVDs!! Let me just end by saying "It's skinny little lizards like you, and mumbo jumbo like THAT, that gives kung fu a bad name!"Movie Review: the master

this is by far one of my favorite movies. i saw it for the first time when i was very young and fell in love with it. this movie is great for any fan of hip hop, bruce lee, break dancing, or just cheesy 80's cinema. this has to be one of the greatest movies of all time, from the first scene, you will definately know "who is the mastter?" there is an abundance of action, the comedy in the movie is endless, and the plot is so endless to follow. one could definately learn some moves from this movie.
