Movie Review: GOOD MOVIE, NOT GREAT...
Summary: 3 Stars

This is a pretty good movie, not a masterpiece like some seem to think. If I were using a 4 Star movie review system I'd give it 2 1/2 Stars. Hopefully without saying enough to be a Spoiler, there's a scene near the end where two lights shoot off into the air, that really should have been three lights.

Movie Review: Not Scary. At All. Not That Appealing, Either.

While the official Amazon.com reviewer for this film got it right when saying that this was an obvious labor of love for the filmmaker, that's unfortunately all this movie really has going for it. Love for the material is apparent throughout the entire picture, and it does give the film some charm . . . . . sometimes.

But those moments of charm are too few and far between, and no matter how much I actually feel kind of bad saying so, the movie falls flat on almost every level. First and most important of all: it's just not scary. At all. I mean, not even comparing it to other ghost movies and taking it on its own terms, there is not even the slightest bit of spooky atmosphere to be found. The DVD is covered with all these positive reviews about how "haunting" the movie is, but what LADY IN WHITE really is is a ghost movie for children. And I don't mean that in a derogatory way, I simply mean that as entertainment for adults or even older kids, the movie really fails. It really is structured, acted, and all-around made like a film for little kids. Maybe it was, and if so, it did a good job. But don't believe all the reviews on the DVD, for instance.

Movie Review: YAWWWWN...BUT O.K. I GUESS?

In 1962 doe-eyed Haas is locked overnight on Halloween(gotta love that)
in his school's cloak room,where he spies the ghost of a little
girl murdered there 10 years earlier and becomes the target of the
still-uncaught killer. Sometimes admired,this SLOWLY(hey,what's new
its a ghost story)paced film has atmosphere and good acting but is
riddled with plot holes and features in my 30 yrs of watching HORROR
theeee MOST obvious identity of a mystery killer! I mean seriously
the killer might as well wear a neon sign.
Recommended for lovers of The Changling-Don't Look Now and Sixth Sense

cant believe u guys gives this movie 4 to 5 stars ...If u are 13 and under,Then u would love this movie!...very childish Halloween movie, NOT scare or suspense nor nothing, With cheesy special effects, I grew up in 80s..And most movies back then had real good scrip and scare and special effects. This one is very cheesy funny/lame movie. I never seen this movie back in 80s,till now,And really glad i didn't!! ..Skip this crap, u would disappointed, don't believe these people reviews!
