Twenty minutes were indifferently lopped out of this movie by three subsequent editors after the director left the project. That probably accounts for the muddled mess that remains of what might have been a pretty good western.
Summary of The Kid and The Killers
Two men who just robbed a bank seek shelter from a storm in the home of two Mexican adolescents (Elida Alicia and Gerry Ross). One of them, Roper (Jon Cypher) is an okay guy, but the other is ruthless (John Garces) and he rapes and kills the female teen then races off with the loot. Roper then reluctantly joins forces with the deceased's fourteen-year-old brother Miguel (Gerry Ross). Can they endure one another long enough to successfully track down the villain?
