I just love this movie!... I love this movie! iT teaches a lot of good lessons! Once you start watching it you can't take your eyes of the screen! It's great for mothers and daughters of all races! and to everyone ofcourse! I don't think this movie is bad! This movie has stayed with me since I first saw it almost 8 years ago. I'm very happy to have found it to add to my collection. This movie explores the complex relationship between mother and daughter. This dvd was good quality with a fast delivery. The movie it's self is a touching look into the many generations of one's family. After watching it will make you want to understand where your older family members went through when they were younger. This movie had a great cast, it was whitty and moving. "The Joy Luck Club" is one of my favorite books, so I wasn't sure how I would like the movie. But, I was surprised to find that it is a great depiction of the book - very accurate, minus a few minor things here and there.
