Movie Review: DaveTheMod Agrees This Discs A Crackin' Good One !
Summary: 5 Stars
First off: BUY this DVD ! Sell off those iffy CD's you own from all those iffy bands, and put the cash towards this terrific "JAM" DVD. I have been a Jam fan from way back in '79 but never saw a video or anything from them for years no matter how hard I looked - now here's more video and live stuff than I could possibly have hoped for. It has stayed in my player for months now. I watch it everyday and never tire of it. If you are a new fan, I envy you. I had to rely on black&white stills and my imagination for years. While you my friend have a treasure trove here, bursting with colour,energy & great songs.Movie Review: Complete Jam DVD

i had this dvd for a month before i could watch it, it all came back when i did. im still learning to navigate my player, so every time i watch this, i see something differnt. there is alot of material here. i dont know who was having more fun, the band or the fans. i wanted to be there dancing with them again. im not good at reviews, just say that this is a terrific DVD for anyone to enjoy, and a heck of a bargain. now i have to get my Strat and SG onto ebay and start looking for a nice Rickenbacker. i cant decide between black, white, or fireglow. and i wish i could be like paul Review: David Watts would be proud !!Summary: 5 Stars I have been a Paul Weller fan for ever! A Style Council # was the opening song at my Wedding. I have been lucky enough to witness 3 Jam shows stateside , but the energy of this DVD blew me away ! They just dont make bands like that any more !! If you can ignore the ridiculos camera work, the sound in 2.0 isnt really half bad .
The commintary on the story of the Jam cuts into some major concert footage but if you are a fan there is no way I can recommend this DVD enough . As others have said " Buy it you will not be sorry"

If you are a fan of the Jam, you will want to buy this DVD immediately. For someone who was a fan as a teen in America in the early '80's this is a dream come true. Now you too can see what those lucky sods in England got to see on their teles and in their clubs when the boys were together. The quality of the live footage is uniformly terrific and the early videos are fun for their naivete. A testament to their greatness as a performing band. Only one question: did Swedish kids really throw eggs at our heroes back in '77?Movie Review: Setting Sons

Simply the greatest British band since The Beatles. I can assure my American cousins that being part of The Jam era in the UK was a privilege. This DVD goes someway to capturing what The Jam were and still are about: Honesty, passion, inspiration and above all else great music. The Jam were a spiritual band that challenged their audience, changed attitudes and changed lives. A light went out in 1982 when we lost them it still saddens me today but we still have the music and this great DVD to remember them by.
