I so love Jackie and continue to watch his antics where I find them;
but I must say, this collection was really not what it could have been.
I was very unhappy with the content quality. Please! Jackie lovers unite
and insist upon a product worth his weight, in gold, please! Just sayin'...
Movie Review: Deceptive

I purchased this set because I wanted some of Jackie's work. This set is truly deceiving as the footage is blurred and pieces of work from Jackie are certainly not his best, example; Jackie appears on the Frank Sinatra show, Frank and Jackie are barely recognizeable.
Passport Video should be ashamed to put anything like this out and profit from it.
Purchase at your own risk, I don't know who these other reviewers are
( relatives or employees I would assume ) but it is a sad and wasteful piece of $#!T !

Gleason's pet project "GIGOT", about a mute and young girl in pre-war Paris should have been included here. This heart-breaking film of his has vanished off the face of the planet...including the VHS version. I have heard that Director Gene Kelly was so incensed about edits requested of him by the studio that he decided to keep it from re-release. How very petty, controlling, and sad. Perhaps his estate will reconsider and seek a release on DVD.Movie Review: glackie gleason

This dvd set of jackie gleason is a very slim example of great dvd quality,it certainly was not the a@E special of jackie gleason,I would tell everyone to skip this dvd set and wait for the set of the jackie gleason show coming out from MPI Video the distributors of the dark shadows sets..
