Movie Review: Heartwarming and noble
Summary: 5 Stars
I really enjoyed this movie so much. It had a good storyline, if a little predictable. I loved watching these great actors. There were noble characters and it was a great escape to the past. Quite a pleasant change from the foul stuff you see on the screen today...such as Mamma Mia, which was quite a disappointment to me. I urge you to buy it and enjoy a pleasant and heart warming story with humor!Movie Review: Such a sweet movie!

This made-for-TV movie was beautifully done and has become a new favorite of mine. The casting was perfect, and some of the quirky characters bring alot of humor to their parts.
If you are curious about the book, I'd recommend borrowing it from the library first - it was Alcott's first novel, written at age 17, and while a sweet story, it is not quite comparable to the movie.

The story line is a variation of the rags to riches theme. I found it to be well written without excessive dramatics. The performances were well done. It presents examples of family love, loyalty, generousity, sacrifice and loyalty. Some may classify it as a chick flick, but as a man, I found it to be an enjoyable movie. This movie highlights personal integrity as very few productions do. There is no illicit sex; foul language is almost non-existent. This represents a great opportunity for children to see the importance of consistent integrity. It gives parents the chance to direct their children into observations of how integrity plays out in life.
This is a must-see.

Those that misbehave get their comeupance and the innocent and loving are rewarded. If you love a story with a happy ending and moments that make you weep you will love "The Inheritance". I've seen this movie before on t.v. and loved it! This will remain a favorite for years to come. . .just like "Emma", "Pride and Prejudice", and "Sense and Sensibility".
