Movie Reviews of The Inheritance

Movie Review: Great Movie; fun historical fiction
Summary: 5 Stars

I won't do a whole review, just add a quick note: this is a great movie. The acting and casting are great; the plot is great; the suspense and drama are great. I love historical fiction and this is it.
It's refreshing to see someone moving outside herself for the good of another. What a unique idea in this "me generation" society. I bought this for myself and another as a gift and may buy more for other friends who like this genre. I like films from Jane Austen's books as well such as Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice, but I like this one even more. The DVD Little Women is good, too.

Movie Review: Sowing what You Reap
Summary: 5 Stars

This was a very good movie that taught wonderful lessons on character. It
had excellent themes on being unselfish and portrayed the old saying of reaping what a person sows coming to pass, whether it be good or evil. This is an excellent family video. Shared it with my close friends and they all liked it.

Movie Review: For all romantics out there.....
Summary: 4 Stars

This is a lovely story with some excellent acting, beautiful scenery, lovely clothes, horses, and people who know how to ride. I will watch this again and again.

Movie Review: Better than expected...
Summary: 5 Stars

Had purchased a Harlequin DVD (Recipe for Revenge -RFR)along with The Inheritance (TI). Having watched RFR first, was a little disappointed with how the story ran so took a few days before watching TI.
Was so happy that I did, as I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a light, romantic period piece, which highlighted the goodness in people. Sometimes you watch a movie, and think it was too far fetched, but having seen Edith's role; I have a friend very much like her so could relate.
And who doesn't like to see Good thrive over Evil.
The actors played their roles well, and you didn't feel like you were watching a B-grade movie, which is how I felt watching RFR.
Hope to find more DVDs like TI.

Movie Review: Glad to find it on DVD
Summary: 5 Stars

We taped this when it first came out on TV. It has been one of our favorites. Glad we could replace it with a DVD.

Great cast, great costumes, and the "nice girl" gets the handsome young man.

Favorite part is when James Percy teaches Edith to dance.
