Has there ever been a funnier, more unpredictable film than this classic? As funny as Arkin and Falk are they are actually upstaged by Richard Libertini's brilliant performance as the crazed Latin American dictator with the thirsty talking hand. I have seen this movie dozens of times and it has never failed to leave rolling on the floor in laughter.Movie Review: THE IN LAWS!!!!!!

Oh God, it's on TV as I write this and I forgot just how FUNNY this movie is. The remake with Michael Douglas and Albert Brooks is just a pale imitation of the absolute hilarity that is this film. I can not say enough about this movie. Alan Arkin is the consumate straight man to Peter Falk's dry and serious delivery. They are perfectly matched for this film. It is pure comedic genius.
