Movie Reviews of The Iceman InterviewsMovie Review: The Man Without A Childhood Summary: 5 Stars
As horrible as his crimes were, I felt sincere sadness for this man who had a horrible, abusive, loveless childhood. This is what happens to a man who is shown no love, caring or empathy during his entire young life.
If he did not have such cruel, heartless parents I don't think he would have ended up like this. How a child is raised is a huge factor in what kind of person they turn out to be as an adult. I feel very sorry for Richard and I pray for God to forgive him. If I had seen these videos before he passed away in March of 2006, I would have written to him in prison regularly just to show him someone does give a damn.
Movie Review: The face of evil Summary: 5 Stars
For the subject matter covered this is a great documentary. Anything with historical reference is always best explained from first hand experience. The Iceman Interviews does more in explaining the mind of a killer than most books. To watch his demeanor and hear him speak about all the horrific things he did in his life with such a casual ease holds true the fact that some people are simply EVIL. Strange too, he comes off as a guy that you would want for a neighbor, if you didn't know any better. The sort of guy you'd ask to watch your house while you're on vacation...really really creepy.
Movie Review: A must for people with this kind of interest!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I, like most people heard of the Ice Man from the HBO specials. The only one I had ever seen was the first one of three. Till I bought the DVD The Ice Man Interviews. The DVD is a collection of the three interviews that HBO did with the Ice Man. All three of the interviews have a lot of the same material on them but with each new interview it gets a little more in-depth. For those who are fascinated about the Ice Man then this is a must. And for those who have never heard of him and like mystery and murder that is real, well you want be disappointed.
Movie Review: Chilling Summary: 5 Stars
I suggest you read the book "The Iceman: Confessions of a Mafia Hitman" to get the complete story before you view this DVD. I couldn't put the book down! I wanted to see his face and demeanor afterwards, so I bought the DVD. Chilling. His eyes are flat and cold, the Grim Reaper in person. If he has one redeeming quality, it is that some of his victims were as evil as he was (well, almost) and the world is a better place without them.
Movie Review: HARD TO BELIEVE PEOPLE LIKE THIS EXIST..... Summary: 5 Stars
This is a pretty amazing DVD. I first caught this back in the early nineties when it was on HBO. This guy had it rough growing up. It transformed him into a non-feeling monster of a human being. Although he's not a serial killer, he's able to kill without a care in the world, no feeling's what so ever. Ironically, he carried on a normal life with a wife and children living in the suburbs. I highly recommend this DVD!
