Movie Review: Fantastic and Inspiring!!!
Summary: 5 Stars
There is no denying that this is a great movie. From the acting, to the way the plot plays out, and of course the ending, which does a great job of describing the aftermath of the film's characters. Denzel Washington gets a ten out of ten for his performance. I find it interesting that many people question the validity of this film, but in my opinion why would a successful prize-fighter want to murder anyone, let alone commit a crime when he clearly had something to lose (not to mention he had already been in jail so why would he do ANYTHING to risk going back). It makes sense that the prosecution was corrupt, and that many people became successful from putting Mr. Carter in jail. Overall, the film gave me hope that with all the horrible things going on in the world, there still can be justice. Thanks to "the Hurricane" I am planning to read his book. Wow. Those were my words after I saw The Hurricane. The story of Rubin "Hurricane" Carter is one of the best my movies I have ever seen. Carter's life story is a very inspiring and moving story about what happens when we hate others just because of different skin color.Denzel Washington is at his best as The Hurricane. I cannot believe he did not win an Oscar, but if people like American Beauty (Sick and Perverted, do not bother to watch this trash)that is their choice.
If you like trash, go see American Beauty or South Park. But if you want to see one of the greatest movies of the 21st century, go see The Hurricane. It has everything you want. Outstanding Acting. Wonderful Script. Great Morals. You will love this Movie.

Movie Review: A masterpiece with Denzel at his best!

This movie is based on reality in which the boxer Ruben Carter was wrongfully accused of murder. It shows how awful racism was and that makes one feel horrible. Just because Carter was black, he was imprisoned. This film is remarquable and Denzel Washington is absolutely fantastic as Ruben Carter. It shows his wrong accusation, the racism, and his descent into madness in prison. It's very sad but the ending ends out being a happy ending. Ruben Carter is helped by a group of Canadians who are inspired by his book that he had written and they try to help him get released from prison. It's a beautiful story and deserves to be watched by everyone. This movie is up there for me with films like the Shawnshank Redemption and the Green Mile! I can't say enough good things about Denzel! Once again he has been robbed of a much deserved oscar. The movie is very good, there are a few slow parts, but Denzel makes up for it. I have never cried at different times than in this movie. Denzel has the power to make you feel what the Hurricane went through. The musical score was a master piece as well Christopher Young is a genious with the Violin. Watch this and you will see why Denzel was robbed. There is no way that anyone can see Denzel and Kevin's performance and say that Denzel didn't do a greator (much greater) acting job than Kevin. Nuff said! To Denzel.... don't let the Academy get you upset you know and the rest of America knows what is right and just!Movie Review: big talka is right

Though no offence you shouldnt have come out so aggresively against " A viewer". Though I can fell your anger as a dedicated fan of Rubin Carter. I did visit that graphic witness site and at first it seemed as though Rubin was wrong. Then I read Big Talka's angry review and thought hang on he could be right. So I visited other sites that supported Rubin and found out there is more evidence FOR Rubin then against. Though the case is still a very hard one. Besides that little argument between big talka and a viewer lets get back to the actual movie. One thing is for sure, whether you support Rubin or not the movie is in actual fact not actually real. ALthough Denzel doez superbly and the production is wonderful.
