Movie Reviews of The Hunted

Movie Review: Great Movie!
Summary: 5 Stars

My wife and I saw this at the theater when it first came with not a whole lot of fan fare or pre-movie hype. We saw it because at the time there wasn't much else out that deserved the inflated theater ticket prices !
We were definitely surprised and delightfully pleased to learn this movie was well worth the sticker price and will warrant the outlay of an additional 20-30 bucks to add to our DVD collection. Do not listen to the negative publicity they are just trying to get a rise from the rest of us that are giving it good reviews.
I have always been a big Lambert fan, especialy for his portrayal
of Lord Greystoke, as well as Highlander. You have to set aside your knowledge that Christopher is already well versed in sword play because in this movie he has to be a regular Joe who learns from the beginning how to wield a sword and by the time he needs that ability his experience is clearly able to shine !
So I am happy to give this one 5 stars for a job well done !

Movie Review: This movie is AWESOME!!
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie is one of the best with east meets west since RED SUN starring Charles Bronson and Toshiro Mifune.I have always been thrilled to see martial arts films.Samurai movies interest me most because of the swordplay that is displayed which is always superb as in this film. This movie is it because of the fight scenes and drums playing in the background by the taiko group KODO.These guys are dangerously skilled at playing drums. The rhythms these guys create are too much. I cannot sit still listening,it is great music to exercise or do aerobics to. My favorite is the guy who beats the 1,ooolb drum. I like this movie so much that I rent it repeatingly just to hear the drums because I cannot find the soundtrack anywhere.RENT THE MOVIE THEN BUY THE MOVIE.

Movie Review: One of the greatest samurai/ninja movies I've seen.
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie by far is one of the greatest martial arts action movies I have ever seen. And I've seen a lot of them. I first saw this movie on the USA Network, and was awe struck. I knew that I had to get this movie. Although the action scenes were too few for my taste, they were spectacular. They seemed as realistic as it could be in a movie. They weren't over the top using "wired stunts" like many recent action movies. The big climactic battle in the end was awesome. If you love martial arts action movies especially ones featuring Ninja and Samurai this would be a must have for your collection.

Movie Review: Code of Bushido
Summary: 5 Stars

For those who like a more "realistic" depiction of Japanese martial arts, "The Hunted" is a MUST SEE. The only thing that seperates the Samurai from the Ninja IS the code of honor "BUSHIDO". The Hunted pits these two age old martial disciplines against each other in a very exciting and realistic way. The sword "fight" scenes are incredible at the same time believeable. A MUST SEE for anyone who enjoys, and appreciates, "BUDO".

Movie Review: A universal appeal
Summary: 5 Stars

Excellent guy movie, chicks, guys with swords and people cut in half from the start. Fans of movies like Braveheart, Gladiator, Highlander or Lord of the Rings should find this movie highly entertaining especialy those who have an interest in historical Japan. Its samurai vs ninja in this modern day fiction based from Japan's feudal past, and my favorite scene features the head samurai, Takeda (thats mr badman to you) carving up a dozen or so ninja in a high speed train.
