Movie Review: Cult classic vampire flick
Summary: 5 Stars
Sink your teeth into this cult classic that should have made it to DVD a long time ago....still stylish 20 years after its release. May seem dated today, especially after films such as the adaptations of Anne Rice's classics, but the vampiric lovemaking and lesbian/vampire relationships were shocking at the time of its release. An attractive cast, especially the timelessly beautiful Catherine Deneuve, make this a must-have for fang fans.Movie Review: Worth buying for the Deneuve-Sarandon lesbo scene alone.

best damn vampire flick ever. Though made in the 80s it stands the test of time.
The opening scene with "Bauhaus doing Bela Lugos is dead" is just outragious, spliced in with Bowie and deneuve carving up their victims, its just great, not to mention deneuve and Susan Sarandon getting it on, what more could you want.
10 Don't think about it, just buy it.
Movie Review: Pure Gothic Classic!!

One of the best vampire films of the 80s, and one of the "strange" films of that time period. Bowie plays very well from begining to end and of course Bauhaus in the begining credits that started the gothic movement swirling. This movie is one movie no horror collector can live without and mostly every goth i know has this film on thier shelf. Photography, Lighting, casting, storyboarding, costume and the timeless appeal that only few movies have, some critics say that this was Tony Scott's close demise, we think that he would have been a legend if he had continued his vision. and it's in the form of the INTRO to this movie!
And there is a really graphic sex scene between the female vampire and SUSAN SARANDON! so what we didnt' see in ROCKY HORROR we get to see here!
