Movie Review: I loved this movie so much it's amazing I put it off for so long...
Summary: 5 Stars
First of all, I know Cameron Diaz is not the best actress in the world by a long stretch, but the movie is so good in other ways it is still enjoyable. The story line of Iris and the older man (whose name escapes me at the moment) is one of the highlights. Some reviewers said they had a problem with Jack Black being one of the main love interests. For me it wasn't a problem. He was funny, charming and attentive. Why wouldn't Iris fall for him?
Jude Law was just delicious, and I loved the surprise story line of his. I've watched this at least 10 times now, and each time get something more out of it. If you watch the commentary, listen to what they say about his hand, playing Iris' theme.
One of my all time favorites, and a definite 'comfort' movie!
Movie Review: WONDERFUL MOVIE :)

I just finished watching this movie yesterday. I thought it was Excellent. When I saw the coming attractions on TV I didn't really want to see it but the other day I was at the doctors office and they played this DVD on the TV. I had no choice but to watch it while I waited and I was enjoying it!!
I didn't get a chance to watch the whole thing because I finally got called in to see the doctor.
I borrowed the movie from my Supervisor at work and watched the whole thing last night.
I LOVED IT!! It's funny, it's sad, it's a great family movie. All the actors are wonderful!!
I will buying this movie for myself and adding it to my DVD collection. When I get it I'm going to watch it again :):)
Movie Review: Alex O'Loughlin's First Big Screen Part in the US!
Summary: 5 Stars
I discovered Alex O'Loughlin on Moonlight when it premiered on 9/28/07. Since then I have collected all of his work - TV and movies - on DVD. I love the small part he has in this one, as half of a "kissing couple" in the very beginning of the movie. Alex was already a leading man in Australia before coming to the US, and had to start over from scratch in the US industry. I admire his courage and persistence. After starting out with this small part, he is now a huge success.
Alex O'Loughlin fans - buy this for your Alex Collection! You will be glad that you did. If you don't know Alex buy it anyway - it is a nice little romantic comedy. Then buy the rest of Alex's work and watch his upcoming work on TV and his movie WhiteOut due out 9/25/09.
Movie Review: Warm cocoa will flow through your veins watching this

If you are an "Under The Tuscan Sun" fan you'll want to add this one to your chick flick collection. It gets better and better with each viewing (great to watch in bed, especially if you are an insomniac). Nancy Meyers is just a genius at adding the perfect complimentary music to her films. There's an atmosphere to the whole thing. If only to watch the brilliant, BRILLIANT Kate Winslet act, you should get it. First time I saw the movie I thought Diaz was a little broad but the more I watch it the more I am impressed by her and appreciate her comedic talents. Jude Law, yummy. Not sure why Meyers cast Jack Black, but he delivers. This DVD is a no brainer to buy if you have even the slightest hint of a romantic bone in your body.Movie Review: No matter what anyone else thinks....

This is hands-down the best romantic comedy I've ever seen! It has it all....great acting by EVERYONE including Eli Wallach, combined with the scenery (JUDE LAW), the excellent chemistry between all of the actors and the music, that for the first time in my life I can say I have a #1 favorite movie. I love watching movies, it's one of my all-time favorite hobbies and I always hated when someone would ask "what's your favorite?" I could never answer that question. Until now. I truly love this feel-good film, but it's not for guys since there's no shoot-em-up, blow up the buildings violence, other than the movie trailer scene with Lindsay Lohan and James Franco, and there's no nudity or f-bomb every other word.
