Excellent movie!!! It will make you laugh, it will make you cry! The cast is amazing.
The Holiday has a Bridget Jones' Diary feel to it. It is a movie about romance and also finding yourself. Kate Winslet's character is one that most women can relate to. She keeps falling for the wrong man. Eventually she becomes more confident and finds the right man!
Jude Law has never looked better!

Wow, I am surprised at all the positive reviews here. My husband and I just watched this last night and we were glad when it finally ended. After some time, my husband checked to see how much longer this would go on and we still had 40 minutes! That's when I got up and started doing something else. I agree with another poster that Cameron Diaz was trying too hard. Despite all the great reviews here, it's not for everyone. If you like a boring, never ending sappy chick flick, this is for you.
