I fell in love with this movie. I know it is a chic flick. But some times we just need one of these. I thought it had just the right mix of humor and honesty. I can see these things really happening.
I loved the idea that there was no bad language used, which shows that you don't have to use 4 letter words to make a point and a good movie. And also no nudes, again a good movie with out this needed. Yes a relationship was insinuated, but in good taste. It was a movie I felt comfortable watching with my 8 year old granddaughter next to me. Actually she enjoyed it to. She really liked the little girls, in fact we build a tent with stars hanging from the top when it was over. It was great!!
Movie Review: A movie to watch over and over and over.....

Completely entertaining, sweet, witty, charming-----and not just for the Christmas season! This movie can be enjoyed all year long. The characters are well developed, and the chemistry between the members of each couple is perfect. The story could have turned out to be just another cute twist to the usual unrequited love theme; but with the unique twist of house exchange across The Pond, it is thoroughly delightful and surprising. Movie Review: Cameron Diaz ruined this movie.

I'm all for romantic comedies, especially those that take place around the holidays. I had high expectations from the trailers & the cast and went into the theater fueled with excitement.
Cameron Diaz single-handedly ruined this movie. She tries way too hard. She was ACTING.
Kate Winslet was great, Jack Black always a delight. Their blossoming friendship-turned-romance was just adorable to watch.
The plot is a tad predictable, but that's pretty much how it goes for romantic comedies.
Skip it if you can. Watch if you must.
You'd have a much better time watching "Love Actually" -- best romantic comedy EVER.
Movie Review: No matter what anyone else thinks....

This is hands-down the best romantic comedy I've ever seen! It has it all....great acting by EVERYONE including Eli Wallach, combined with the scenery (JUDE LAW), the excellent chemistry between all of the actors and the music, that for the first time in my life I can say I have a #1 favorite movie. I love watching movies, it's one of my all-time favorite hobbies and I always hated when someone would ask "what's your favorite?" I could never answer that question. Until now. I truly love this feel-good film, but it's not for guys since there's no shoot-em-up, blow up the buildings violence, other than the movie trailer scene with Lindsay Lohan and James Franco, and there's no nudity or f-bomb every other word.
