Movie Review: Ok...Lots of key parts left out of the film

I agree with the fact that it is great for kids. I liked it overall, but there were a lot of mistakes. The most blatent of all was at the end of the number of dwarves that dies in the book as different in the film. Also Balog played a big role in the book, but lacking in the film. The Hobbit is a good kids flick you will love it if you've read the novel.Movie Review: LOVE it

Well latly i was thing of this movie not knowing where to find it, so i checked out Amazon, and sure enough it was thier and on DVD! whoo! i wanted see this movie again for a long time. From when i was a kid I rember Gallum Scaring the CRAP out of me. So now that im older I had to try and find it again. And yes, Gallum still scars the crap out of me o.0Movie Review: great movie

This is a great movie, but only one thing would make it better: THEY NEED TO MAKE A SOUNDTRACK CD!!!!! Some songs, like the Elves' "Tra-la-la-lalley", the Wood-elves "Rollin' Down the Hole", and the Dwarves' "Far O'er the Misty Mountains Cold" are being talked over by characters. Sondtracks make movies better.Movie Review: GREAT EVEN IF IT IS ANIMATED.........

THIS IS A GOOD WAY TO START LOOKING AT TOLKIEN'S WORKS, ESPECIALLY FOR THE YOUNGER SET. I THINK CHILDREN SHOULD READTOLKIEN'S WORKS AS SOON AS THEY CAN READ WELL AND UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE READING. THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO GET THEM INTERESTED IN THE WONDERFUL WORKS OF TOLKIEN.

Awesome, one word to describe it. It changed my life. I love it and i watch it with such devotion only second to reading the Bible. I love the 1977 animated classic "the Hobbit: the Clamshell" IT IS A WORK OF RECONDITE GENIUS! I AM FOREVER AMAZED BY THE CLAMSHELL/THE HOBBIT! :) :) :)
