Movie Review: A+ movie...soon to be a classic

This film was great all the way around, but the acting by Costner and Kutcher were off the chain. They had great chemistry on line (and I'm not talking sexually either), great friendship and almost fatherly/son type by the end. Stroyline was great had a variety of emotions and events in it to fit everyones style. A must have if you like either actor or if you like military films. It is just a heart warming, action-drama, real life senerio movie. Just a very well done movie. Recomend to anyone and everyone.Movie Review: Awesome movie

I really like this movie. it was really amazing. Kevin Costner potrayed ben randall in the movie really well. It was sorta one of those save someone, give your life thing, but it included the coast guard. Until now, i finally know how dangerous it is to be a coast guard rescue swimmer. It does have a lot of sad stuff. so many people die. Ashton kutcher did pretty well. He was actually pretty good considering his other movies. I highly recommend this to people. Great acting and a superb story that keeps you engaged with the characters and delivers an emotional and inspiring tale of courage and loss.
The DVD quality is close to HD / Blu Ray picture quality if you have a decent DVD upscaler. ALL DVDs should be made to this superior quality ... it adds so much more to the film. It also proves that most DVD manufacturers are ripping us off!

Movie Review: Loved this movie

This is my first review of a movie and it will be short. This was an excellent movie with action, drama and sensitivity. I was surprised at how good an actor Ashton Kutcher was in the movie. He was terrific as was Kevin Costner. There just are very few movies about the heroics of the Coast Guard showing what they do. There were no boring moments. It is a great date movie, good for young and old, male and female.Movie Review: Excellent betrayel!!!

Being a wife of a ex-coastie, (who was first in Coast Guard history to get "Drown Proofing"), I found this to really show how valuale the Coast Guard really is. I though both Costner and Kutcher were excellent!!! Will watch again and again. Enjoyed seeing what "Swimmers" have to go through as my husband had to do almost everything they did, with the cynderblocks and all, when getting his drownproofing!
