Movie Review: You Won't Be Bored!
Summary: 5 Stars
This film is jam-packed with action about true life adventures. It will leave you with overwhelming respect for the men in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Along with all the heart-stopping action, you see the softer side and an underlying determination that is rare in today's society. These men are a rare breed and it shows the tenacity and true heart with which they perform their life-saving feats.
I am honored to be a citizen of this great country and proud of all of our military for the sacrifices they make daily. THANK YOU on behalf of our entire family!
Movie Review: Hollywood: Well done.

This movie was incredible. At first I thought that it would be terrible because Aston Kutcher is kind of a laughable, not so serious actor. I was wrong. I was moved by this movie and how it showed the real life Coast Guard men and women and the way they put thier lives on the line for those in need. The acting was excellent and I seriously cried at the end at the moment of Kevin Costner's character's death. WELL DONE to all the persons who worked on this movie and especially to the real life Coast Guard hero's. I now feel seriously guilty for joining the Air Force.Movie Review: Not expected...

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from this movie. I had seen the previews and thought it looked interesting, but I didn't expect to fall in love with it!! It was really one of the most incredible movies made in the 2000's (as most of us know, many of the movies in this decade have struggled to make par.), finally an epic film that can be remembered in years to come! This is now my favourite movie, and I hope everyone loves it as much as I did (and still do). I also have a greater appreciation of the Coast Guard. You will fall in love with them, too. I thought this movie was great! I wasn't sure how it would be b/c I had a few people tell me not to waste my money on it. I am so glad I rented it anyway b/c I loved it. I thought the coastguard was very well respresented and the actors did a great job. I think this is one of the best roles Kevin Costner has played. I also think Ashton Kutcher did a great job in his role. I am so used to seeing him in comedies that I wasn't sure how he would be in this, but I was pleasantly surpised. I've never had a strong interest in any branch of our military. I've always found "army" movies to seem cheesy and dramatized. This movie truly makes you understand just how hard they work for us out there. I was amazed by their remarkable stories, their triumph, and above all their courage. This movie truly breaks the mold for it's genre, I recommend it to anyone who wonders what it's like to serve, what kind of men put strangers above themselves. I really connected with the characters- and trust me you will too.
