A very light-hearted "feel good" movie. It is a great one for leaving your troubles behind, sitting back and being pulled into funny, yet often suspenseful situations. Doris Day as a suspected spy coming through as a real trooper fighting back. One of the better Doris Day comedies. Also, the number of famous actors in this movie gives the viewer a historical view on the evolution of true comedic talent.Movie Review: It's All About "The Dot And The Line."

Until now, many in the world of mathematics have waited seemingly forever for the release of the Academy Award winning short "The Dot And The Line," which is a short included with this movie. This Chuck Jones classic has been "unobtainium" until now.
"The Dot And The Line" will be remembered for long after the "Boat" is sunk. Worth buying just for this.
Movie Review: Vacuous, superficial, great

I first saw this film on TCM, the kids loved it so I bought the DVD. As per title - it's exactly what you expect from a Doris Day film of the era. Really nice.
And I can't imagine there are many other mothers in their forties with such a great figure as Doris had in this film, even in this modern age of liposuction.

I was in high school when I first saw this movie. After seeing it, I became a major Doris Day fan! I buy erverything I find that has to do with Doris Day.
This movie,along with It Happened To Jane and Young At Heart, are about the best movies she made. I am so excited they are finally bringing more of her movies to DVD.

I purchased the DVD because my granddaughter saw it on TV and thoroughly enjoyed it and continually asked when it would be shown again. Doris Day is at her funiest in this movie and her singing is classic Doris Day. My granddaughter continually apologized for laughing so hard. The whole family can enjoy this movie.
