I finally got done viewing this movie after reading all the reviews and all I can say is, wow! If this movie doesn't move you, nothing will. My hands are still shaking from the story and I don't think that I will soon forget the atrocities shown therein. will. The acting was very well done, especially the child actors. I was suprised to see Grant Show from Melrose Place fame, he did a good job. I've never heard of the Sylvia Likens case. This is well worth the money. A movie that actually delivers on what they promise. I think that some of the scenes should have been longer but you wont be disappointed. For me, this movie was hard to watch and hard NOT to watch.
It isn't for the faint-of-heart.
And, it is terrific.

I saw this movie on the chiller chanel and this movie made me very sad cause i have 2 daughters and im a single mom and id never do what ruth did to meg i cried thinking how could i save this girl and im reading the book. i cant believe the crap ruth did to her.very sad and depressing.
