Movie Review: Not for the weak hearted

I ordered this movie after i had watched An American Crime. The book is based more on the American Crime movie. I went into this thinking it would be something like that movie, and boy was i wrong. I thought the content in American Crime was bad, but it wasn't compared to this movie. I was getting sooo mad and upset with this movie. I could not believe the cruelty and sickness that was going on. I'm not going to give any of it away. All i can say is when you watch this movie.....Beware.Movie Review: Unforgettable and Painfully Powerful

I walked out of the theater numb and shaking. Very skillfully done, it was a horrifying look at severe child abuse with wonderful acting and full of tension. A third of the people in the theater where I saw this film at were crying or in tears as we left the building. Knowing it was based on a true story made it even more tragic. An emotional rollercoaster ride if you are brave enough to watch. You'll never forget it. Highly recommended.Movie Review: Probably the most disturbing movie I've ever seen

This movie...without giving anything good away, makes me shake and get really cold. This is so disturbing..I LOVE IT. I've been an avid horror fan my whole life and this is the first time where I'm just in shock over the quality of this. It's so real. Stephen King described this as Stand By Me on the dark side of the moon. I agree. I don't want to say anything else, but I love this movie!!!!Movie Review: Jaw-dropping

First of all, every one of the children in this film are phenomenal young actors! The directing is outstanding. Very well paced too. There is no way you can view this film and not feel some of your strongest emotions. Convincing? So brutal, but this is so realistically done that you can't help but imagine yourself getting your hands on some of these characters. Excellent film making.Movie Review: Great film !

why are so many people rating this movie of what is about? yes its about torturing a young girl. yes that's immoral. but this movie is great. the plot is great. the performances are great. this film is captivating! it lures you in, and you don't want to miss a scene.
if you cant appreciate good acting and writing, then you should not watch this movie.
