Movie Review: Who is the real ghost?

I think this movie is one of Don Knotts standards. It is typical of the nervous type of character he portrays so well. He comes across as hyperactive, afraid of no one, but when the crunch comes he is there shaking all over, eyes wide and you can almost see his hair standing on end. A brilliant movie from a romantic era of movie making.Movie Review: One of my childhood favorites still as good as ever!

I first saw "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" when I was a kid on a rainy Saturday afternoon and I loved it imeediately! I have been looking all over for it on DVD locally, but only Amazon had it and it is great! It's in widescreen and looks better than on tv. Even my teenaged kids liked it and that's saying a lot in this day and age!Movie Review: Don Knotts At His Very Best

Here is a film full of character actors that work so well around the central character making the whole film work perfectly like a well oiled machine. This is a cult film well worth owning as it's a joy to watch over and over again. Great Score by Vic Mizzy too.
One of the better 60's comedy films that still holds up.

I can get a chuckle just thinking about some of the scenes in this film. Don Knotts plus a haunted house equals silly goofy fun. The jaded cynical set won't get it, but those of us lucky enough to have grown up in more innocent times, or still are growing up will love this.
