Movie Review: Love Don Knotts!
Summary: 5 Stars
This is a really wonderful movie. It takes me back to the sixties when I was a small child. Don Knotts is wonderful in this movie. His comedic flair and talent really comes through. My 21 year old son watched with me and thought it was great. He had never seen it before. He loves Don Knotts also. The only problem was that the disc skipped a couple of times, but when I took it out and cleaned it up, it stopped skipping. I recommend this movie to everyone. What a classic film starring Don Knotts at his best. A great movie that moves well, keeps you engrossed, and is as funny as any movie you can think of. Wonderful acting from a lot of names and or faces you will know, a good script, and music that makes you want to have a giant pipe organ in your attic. This film has always been a favorite of mine and I recommend it to all. Very funny, family entertainment. Safe for all to watch, which you don't get anymore. i was primarily a don knotts fan due to his lovable role as barny phife on the andy griffeth show. when i saw this movie at the video rental store starring my favorite tv personality next to lucielle ball and the gang, i immdediatly rented it. that was when i was twelve, now fourteen i still enjoy this comedy and love the DVD version of this classic. it's enjoyable for people of all ages as i found out growing up with this wonderful movie. give it a try, i know you'll love it!!!!Movie Review: MY FAVORITE KNOTTS FILM!

This is a perfect vehicle for Knott's nervous "fraidy cat" persona. Don plays a bumbling reporter that gets himself in a situation where he must stay in a supposedly haunted house over night.....need I say more? The outcome is hilarious. Vic Mizzy lends his talents as composer of the music and that unforgettable haunted organ music! My review is for the Don Knotts collection DVD set this film is included in. A haunted house and Don Knotts - it doesn't get any better than this. This is the best of the movies he made, coming either just before or just after he left Mayberry (many of the old Andy Griffith supporting actors are in this film). The haunted house scenes were enough to creep out little kids when this first came out, and nobody plays frightened better than Don Knotts. This is a really good, funny movie you'll watch over and over again.
