This is a great black and white movie that dramatizes the beginnings of scuba as a weapon of war (WW2). It is an older movie, where the story is carried by the script and direction rather than special effects. Watching this when it first came out inspired my son to become a Navy SEAL. He retired after 27 years. I sent this to him.
SEALs call themselves 'Frogs' rather than frogmen. I enjoyed it when I saw it.

I am a grandmother and I orderd this movie for my son who is a scuba diver. He's not getting it, I'm keeping it. Once again Widmark shows newer actors how it's done.
