Movie Review: what are these Wags talking about?
Summary: 5 Stars
This movie was even more nutty than I remember it. The singer, El Topo, goes around singing in a really odd voice to other gunfighters who drop from just the sound of his voice! Ha! Don Knotts, the strange and unusual gunfighter, is wonderful as the lounge singer El Topo, and Joyce De Half Witt is underdone as the lady in red who wears white and eats worms with her toes...the addition of Art Carney from the Honeymooners as Mr. James is a bit over the top I believe. And Barry Bonds as the drinkmaster is wonderful as he hits bottles of water over the gates of the Fort to soliders who thrist for water and baseballs! Ha! All in all this film, subtitles in Russian and filmed in Mexico, will thrill you and chill you and delight you
