I bought this movie for my wife because she is a huge Disney fan, I myself am a Shia LeBeouf fan. The movie is really cute and entertaining. Shia LeBeouf and Christy Carlson Romano are humorous to watch as they, brother and sister, seem to try to irritate each other throughout the story. The movie incorporates the whole reality show entertainment that America just seems to love, as the Stevens family gets selected to go on this tropical family vacation which ends up being a front for a hidden reality tv show.
There are some cheesy parts throught out the feature (do realize that it was a made for tv movie) like when Shia completely destroys the natives' sacred temple and when some of the family members are chased down by a rabid squirrel. As with most Disney movies, The Even Stevens Movie contains the concepts of friendship, family, and love.
If you are a fan of the show or of just good, made for tv, family movies than I believe you would enjoy this movie.
