Movie Reviews of The End of the AffairMovie Review: A magnificent masterpiece. Summary: 5 Stars
This movie was, in my opinion excellent. It had a great screen play and the actors were fantastic! This movie was a combination of mystery, drama, and romance all engulfed into one spectacular work. Ralph Fiennes, Juilanne Moore, and Stephen Rea had a wonderful chemistry between them and I thought that they were well choosen for their roles. It was a little confusing in some parts but the overall quality of the movie was still great. I would strongly recommend this movie to anyone!
Movie Review: A beautiful but tragic love story Summary: 5 Stars
Wow! Moore and Fiennes heat up the screen with this, the closest to the novel yet! A passionate and bittersweet love story, that should make everyone want to read the book. Based loosely on Graham Greene's two affairs. one with a woman named Dorothy Glover and the other, the best known with American, Catherine Walston. Catherine was the basis for Sarah. It is not to be missed.
Movie Review: Brilliant! Summary: 5 Stars
I adore this film, which is one of the most passionate romance movies I have ever seen. The acting from Oscar nominated Julianne Moore is first rate and the London/Brighton set pieces are flawless. Also, there is the presence of gorgeous Ralph Fiennes, exposing his sexy buttocks while making love to Julianne - that scene alone is enough reason to see The End of the Affair!
Movie Review: Captivating Summary: 5 Stars
Great movie. The whole plot is about passion, love, jealousy and faithful promises to oneself.
All three characters are controlled and overpowered by their emotions and fears. And this movie masterfully displays and explains these emotions. Julianne Moore is terrific, makes her character multi-dimensional - male characters seemed like a decor for her drama.
Movie Review: Obsessive obsession Summary: 5 Stars
To love that deeply that you constantly obsess about every aspect of your lover's life is maddening, literally. This couple appears to have a bond way beyond this earth. The heat generated by them almost melts the screen. This is a wonderful torrid love story.
