Movie Reviews of The Electric HorsemanMovie Review: One of Sydney Pollack's Earlier Movies Summary: 5 Stars
Before "Tootsie" and "Out of Africa", one of Sydney Pollacks's earlier movies. Good story, popular (competemt) actors, something a little new (Willie Nelson on screen) -- ingredients for success. I always looked forward to Pollack's movies, you knew he did his best in presenting an entertaining and adult-themed movie (a minimum of explosions and special effects). He is sorely missed by movie lovers. This one was very popular when released, and deservedly so. A box office success.
Movie Review: Awesome film!! Summary: 5 Stars
If you haven't seen this film, this is the second pairing for Redford/Fonda. Great chemistry. It shows how 1 man bucks corporate America in the name of what's right. And Fonda is great as the newswoman who starts out chasing the ultimate story but realizes later that sometimes, life means more than tv ratings.
Movie Review: Great 5 Stars
This is a beautiful movie that every animal lover, certainly every horse lover will cherish. And, if you ever loved Robert Redford, it's a must have! I loved learning recently that Robert Redford bought the horse movie, kept him until he died and that Rising Star is buried at Sundance Ranch.
Movie Review: Well done Robert!!! Summary: 5 Stars
A wonderful blend of fun, entertainment, and an absolutely understandable plot... well cast, Robert has been around as long as I can remember and never fails to take on the character he portrays, I am not a fan of Fonda but they are just so great together, again I say WELL DONE---
Movie Review: electric Summary: 5 Stars
I like watching Redford and Fonda enough to buy the movie. There are memorable lines--everyone remembers Willie's. Some of the cinematoraphy is breathtaking and the story is sweet and sentimental. The purchase went without a hitch, and the price was good.
