Movie Review: Great! Still has the same bang from when I first saw it!
Summary: 5 Stars
Rachel Leigh Cook portrays the role of an angsty teen perfectly as her mother suicide's for mysterious reasons. It takes me back to when I was younger and throwing tantrums like hers. :) I saw this movie when I was in high school, a friend had let me borrow it on video and I instantly fell in love with it. Since I've now added this to my collection of movies. Big fan of David Seltzer (who wrote for The Omen) and Rachel Leigh Cook. I like the scene where she rides the horse with the stableboy and makes it look entirely sensual, albeit that was quite strange for a 13 year old girl to do such a thing with a stableboy at least 15 years her senior. Altogether, it makes quite a great movie to watch! But, I have to say there i such small regard for these movies because they only get a barebone release...would've loved to have this movie in 5.1 surround sound. *hint, hint sony!*
