Movie Reviews of The Devil's ArithmeticMovie Review: Great Movie Summary: 5 Stars
I read the book the movie is based on as a child and was happy to see a movie had been made of it. I bought the movie because I wanted a movie that I could show to my middle school students about the Holocaust that wasn't rated R. I really enjoyed the movie and thought that it did a good job of showing some of the things that happened during the Holocaust without being too graphic. I would recommend this movie to anyone who interested in learning more about the Holocaust.
Movie Review: devils arithmatic Summary: 5 Stars
This movie is an excellent teaching tool for todays young generation.
The Holocaust is an Historical fact, despite those who would seek to deny its horror...this new breed of Anti Semitics who in reality are just the old breed reincarnated.
Generations to come need to know the truth and Dustin Hoffman has done an excellent job directing this movie and displaying the truth in a chilling yet very watchable way...Bravo.
Movie Review: BEST MOVIE Summary: 5 Stars
I first saw this movie when it was still on TV, I was most likely 12 at the time, and I can't tell you how long it has taken to track this video down. It has impacted my life dramatically. A powerful film about the Holocaust and the strenght that one voice can have in hardships. Faith, family, and moral all play an important role in this film. Really makes you realize the good things in life, and the power of History.
Movie Review: Very enjoyable! Summary: 5 Stars
I find the movie to follow the book very well. I think that Kirsten Dunst
does an excellent job. It shows the life of a young high school girl
who definitely wants to have nothing to to do with her faith until
a unusal fate of God happens to her on one of her religious holidays.
It is a must see movie and I would recommend it to any of my friends.
Movie Review: This A Terrific Film!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I saw this film on cable and thought that it was absolutly teriffic.
I feel that it's almost like a Hebrew version of the Wizard Of OZ. Except with out a happy middle part. Louise Fletcher, as usual, was wonderfull as was Kirsten Dunst. I would reccomend this film for anyone who loves docudramas as well as anyone wanting a great tale of the Holocaust.
