Movie Review: its all in the sound . . .track
Summary: 3 Stars
This is a pretty good example of how a crappy movie can become a "hidden little gem" as you reviewers like to put it. The music/sound has pretty much everything to do with why I was able to get all the way through this movie - although it doesn't hurt that it came out in the 80's (even know it was the LATE 80's). All hail the moog keyboard! The acting was actually very entertaining in its own right. Not bad - if you're a skeptic, just rent it! If you're a fan of the genre - you probably already own it!
Summary of The Dead Pit
Dr. Ramzi (Danny Gochnauer), a deviant who enjoys torturing his patients, is killed by a fellow doctor and buried in the basement of a mental health facility. Twenty years later, the hospital is up and running again and a "Jane Doe" (Cheryl Lawson) arrives at the institute with amnesia . Upon her arrival, a major earthquake rocks the building and unearths the now undead Dr. Ramzi and his legion of zombie patients so he can continue his work.Horror DVD Video
