Movie Review: The "Dark Power" would be the ability to force someone to watch this movie

I'd much prefer to offer zero stars to this movie, but Amazon did not offer me that option. Much to my dismay, Amazon did allow someone to praise this abomination with a positive review, nearly a rave. While I realize that my taste may differ radically from that of another movie-goer, I would not wish witnessing this movie upon my worst enemy.
This weakly premised toltec spirit plot yielded lame villains, lame heroes, terrible make-up, no "special" effects, and a one attractive work-out-addict chick.
The movie's claim to fame, the casting of Lash LaRue, was yet an additional painful addition. It was as if someone found a washed out drunk at a biker bar (no offense to Harley enthusiasts), threw a whip in his hand and said "go nuts"--and he did, with no attention to content, directive or acting. But then, he was tied for worst actor in the film...with every other actor involved.
It's not that this movie was bad. It's that it was so bad that it made me want to take the chopsticks (with which I was eating while suffering through this film), jam them in my eyes, swirl them all around, and force them through to my brain to end the suffering.
I will offer one olive branch to those who may disagree with me. I am someone who knows that, when watching B-movies, one should surround himself with friends and adult beverages. I did not do this (a rookie mistake for which I would normally scold others) and, as a result, I side-armed this dvd like a discus off my balcony into Tampa Bay. To my credit, however, normally I can identify those which would be good drinking movies under any circumstances and there are simply too many other options to consider Dark Power. (I guess I just stomped on that olive branch--sorry)
Summary of The Dark Power
A group of unsuspecting college coeds move into the house on Totem Hill, a cursed place where four Toltec Sorcerers buried themselves hundreds of years ago - Alive! On the coming of the Evil Days, the ancient demons arise to feed on the living. Now only one old Ranger with a whip -- fashioned out of materials from the four quarters of the world -- stands between the girls and the mystical zombies from the past. In the first of his two films for Writer/Director Phil Smoot, legendary B-Western film star Lash La Rue (The "King of the Bullwhip" and the role model for Indiana Jones) returned to the screen after nearly 30 years to portray the whip wielding Ranger Girard. Perfectly cast for the role, La Rue once again proved that no one could best him with his trademark weapon.
