Movie Review: Give it a shot people are way to critical with this film.
Summary: 5 Stars
All i have read from these reviews is how bad the skating was,
how terrible the chemistry is that it's not as good as the first film. I wathed this film hoping that it would have a bit of the fun that made the first film so memorable. And i must say i really enjoyed it. If you want great skating in a film hire a pro figure skater for the part and don't expect great acting. Christy Carlson Romano playes kate and Doug Dorseys daughter perfectly i thought she had a lot of the fire you would expect from kates daughter anyone remember what a pain kate could be in the first film give credit where credit is due she did a great job. the parents (Doug and Kate) did great i thought it was better with these actors Moira Kelly and D.B. Sweeney just would not have been the right age for this film yet cutting edge just came out 14 years ago and i'm guessing that their daughter is alot older than 14. Give this film a chance if you enjoyed cutting edge for it's humor and fun suprises and are not concerned with everything being by the book and identical to how it would play out in real life and can forgive the director for perhaps oh my goodness adding a bit of hollywood magic to the film then give it a shot you may just find yourself enjoying it.
