Movie Review: Ah perfection!
Summary: 5 Stars
I recently tracked down "The Cure in Orange" DVD which I remember being the best show ever....It was good but I think this one is much better...Jason Cooper is a MUCH better drummer.... and Porl Thompson actually looks cool..... I disagree with anyone who says without keyboard parts there seems to be something missing.......I would state that the keyboard parts at times ruin the Trilogy DVD ( "Pictures of You" is almost brutal)
They dig out some of their best tunes here.... I bought it for "The Baby Screams".... and all of it is great!
a must have....

Movie Review: Right on stage

For those that think this is over produced, I would totally disagree. I loved the production. So many close ups of the band members it felt like I was on stage with them. Concert videos can get boring, but this video added a lot of special effects which I thought were very cool. I would highly recommend this, just as good as going to a concert if not better. I do wish they would have had more of their popular songs on this, but they still had enough good ones to make it worth while. But if you want to see and feel what its like to be on stage, this gives you that feel.Movie Review: Awesome Concert DVD!

A great overview of one of the pioneering and most unique rock band to grace the scene with their best songs. I've recently attended their Concert here in Singapore and I'd a great time and I'm still mesmerizing with the songs they performed.
This is a great Concert captured on DVD and they constantly captivate the audience with spectacular lighting and again a great rock band!
I strongly recommend for those who just want to seat back after hard day at work and enjoy the great performances by The Cure!

I've been a Cure fan since 1987. The Cure is best interpreted live. This concert sees the return of Porl Thompson, one of the architects of the Cure sound from 85's Head On The Door to 92's Wish. With guitar driven soundscapes this concert delivers a fresh new live experience. Performing 30 songs over 9 different venues, Festival 2005 has a song for every Cure fan. É um DVD bastante profundo. Muito bem editado alternando imagens filmadas em publico com poucos recursos, com imagens de profissionais. A lista de musicas seleccionadas é excelente e abrange o universo dos THE CURE ao longo de mais de 25 anos. Os músicos mantêm uma excelente forme fisica e o incomparável Robert Smith continua a surpreender pela positiva. DVD a não perder.Excelente.
