Movie Reviews of The CrucibleMovie Review: Perfect for July 4th viewing! Summary: 5 Stars
I have no in-depth review. I'd just like to say that THE CRUCIBLE would provoke maybe a shudder or two if it were not based on fact! I've made a ritual of viewing this film every July 4th for the past several years as I believe it's a perfect illustration of why we needed our independence from England and the CONTINUED need for RELIGIOUS FREEDOM and the SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!
Movie Review: Funny movie Summary: 5 Stars
This movie is surprisingly funny, I like the fact that the entire town goes crazy accusing people of being a witch just because someting odd happens when that person is around. Some of the language might be difficult to undertand. This movie is about the consequences when someone lies about what they did and then tries to blame other people for it. It is a great movie, I liked it.
Movie Review: A Masterpiece Summary: 5 Stars
I just love The Crucible!
I remember reading this one back in high school and didn't really understand it so much as I do now.
Daniel Day Lewis and Wynona Ryder were brillant in this film!
The whole cast did an amazing job! kudos!
This powerful drama can make you angry, sad and maybe cry at the end!
Movie Review: The Crucible Summary: 5 Stars
The movie is perfect for the classroom. The story line is very close to the text, although there are a few discrepencies. These changes are easily discussed with students, and they benefit from the majority of the film that is true to the text. This version is much more accurate than the remake which came out a few years back.
Movie Review: The Crucible Summary: 5 Stars
When i first heard of this story i thought it was boring. The story looked boring, but like evertone says "you can't judge a book by its' cover". When i watched the film, i changed my opinion. the realism of the film is educational and thrilling, because it educates you on how it was in the 17th century. Great film.Watch it!
