Two thumbs, way up. Wonderfully cast, excellant directing and acting. Great period piece and historically correct. Ranks up there with Gettysburg and Dances with Wolves.
You can feel the desperation of the hour. We need more films like this that accurately portray who we are and where we came from

Excellent, excellent movie! I have watched it over and over and enjoy it just as much each time. A&E movies are always well done and this is no exception! I am impressed with the content of "The Crossing". Very educational and entertaining. The acting is very well done and the historical content is not disturbed. I am a big fan of Howard Fast and this movie only strengthens that notion.
