Movie Reviews of The Crimson Pirate

Movie Review: Crimson Pirate
Summary: 5 Stars

I am 58 yrs. old now. When I first saw this film I was 10. Got me into gymnastics and all around walking with confidence. Burt Lancaster is still my favorite actor. No stunt men in his films!!! When he was the age I am now..saw him on the Merv Griffin show...stood on his hands for 30 secs. Wow The "Flame and the Arrow" is the sequel to the "Crimsom Pirate"

Movie Review: Burt Lancaster at his funniest, totally outragious
Summary: 5 Stars

Recomended for anyone with a sence of humor. I've loved this movie sence the first time I saw it, too many years ago to count. Sword fighting, brawling, and misplaced (timewise) inventions. All done to tickle your funny bone. Too bad they don't have six stars to rate this.

Movie Review: The Crimson Pirate
Summary: 5 Stars

Burt Lancasters showbiz start as acrobat is on display in this spirited adventure. Nick Cravat plays his mute sidekick and matches the young actors impressive moves, if not his million-watt smile. Lots of action and color fill this picture, and children should love it.

Movie Review: A GREAT Relaxing Movie
Summary: 5 Stars

This is an easy watching, relaxing, humorous movie with lots of acrobatic action and a story to enjoy. This is early Burt Lancaster that many of us missed. If you want an evening of total enjoyment this is the movie to see.

Movie Review: great pirate spoof!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great pirate spoof! It's great to see a film where actors really do their own stunts- This film is just plain fun for kids and adults. I hope they do a remake!
