Movie Reviews of The Craft (Special Edition)

Movie Review: Excellent Entertainment!
Summary: 5 Stars

Great acting, wonderful plot, and excellent special effects. Four teen girls at a school get into witchcraft innocently enough before all goes astray. Suspensful and thrilling, wonderful for anyone who wants to get a chill. And note to all Wiccans: The girls in this movie never claimed to be Wiccans. Not all Witches are Wiccan. Television and movies are not supposed to be about real life. Just ask any doctor or nurse how "accurate" ER portrays them or a teacher how "realistically" Bostom Public portrays them. They will tell you it does not. Movies and television are not supposed to be about accuracy, but entertainment, and this movie certainly delivers.

Movie Review: Take it for what it is...
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this movie! It's charming, fun, and actually has a decent message behind all the special effects.

In response to people who were less than complimentary:
1. I am not the normal demographic for the film (my own high school days being far behind me).
2. Don't confuse Wicca and Witchcraft.
3. This is a Hollywood movie and a horror/comedy to boot. Are we holding it to higher standards than, say, "Big Trouble In Little China"?
4. If you don't think witchcraft is real, see number three.

5. If you think your religion was smeared or degraded, see number three.
6. If this isn't what "real" witches do, see number three.

Movie Review: Good creepy movie!
Summary: 5 Stars

The Craft was a great movie. The story goes four misfits (once together) gain a power to lift each other up with there finger tips, get back at people who have mocked them ect. Only once the "envoke" the spirt every gets out of control. Now Rachel wants out but the other three don't like that. Now Rachel must use her magic to save herself against darker magic. A great film, awsome special effects, NOT a Satan worshiping film but they don't worship Jesus ETHER- some wird spirt. A great film thats shows you not to mess around with witch craft! If you liked Carrie or Bram Stokers Dracula you most likly will like The Craft.

Movie Review: Bewitchingly Scary
Summary: 5 Stars

Firstly, I'm not into magik or Wicca or anything like that so my review is not based on whether or not it was realistic or whatever, bla bla bla.. I haven't seen a movie for years, since The Shining in fact, which actually got the old fear glands pumping and gave me that scary kind of buzz that gets your heart pumping and you find yourself thinking lots of weird thoughts... An extremely slickly shot, fast paced movie, the acting was pretty good if a little over stylised. A great supernatural thriller with a fantastic end scene. See it.

Movie Review: "You don't exist you are nothing"
Summary: 5 Stars

The craft is simply fun to watch but the real story here is the crap teens go through in high school and what we would love to do if we got caught in those problems and these girls do exactly what they want to do due to the fact that their witches and all. The movies starts out with each girls problem and then they use their power to change it at the end one of them gets out of control with power and only one can stop her.The movie is great to me and the amount of stuff that is on the dvd is pretty cool and so is the dvd menu.
