Movie Review: Good movie
Summary: 5 Stars
I really loved this movie, despite all the critism it received from the real wiccans. It has a good plot and good characters, even some character development. This is meant to be a FUN movie, not realistic. In the movie the girls never mention Wicca, but only witchcraft/black magic. I can understand that it does not portray everything correctly, but is hollywood ever accurate? I am a Christian, and I have watched a few movies that are wrong. Take the exorcist for example, the main priest smokes and drinks. Priests are not permitted to do these things, atleast not in the Catholic church. I understand what the Wiccans are saying, but don't take it too personally. Well now that I've put in my two cents I just have to say that this movie is awesome. It sparked my interests in learning about Wicca and other religions, even though it is not exactly correct.Movie Review: This moive strikes a chord for some of us...

I saw this movie when I was 15 or 16, and totally loved it. I loved it so much I went out and bought some books on witchcraft to see what I could do. I was so disapointed that magic didn't work like it did in the movie, and the whole Mano thing was totally fake, plus my parents freaked and made me throw my books out. Flash forward to my freshman year of college, and I became interested in Wicca again, this time for the right, spiritual reasons. I watched this movie again and saw how silly it is and how naivie I was. I have to wonder though, how many people who saw this in the 90's found their way to Wicca through it. When people critize teens now who are interested in the Craft, I wonder where those judgemental people came to Wicca from? I know I can't be the only person who was inspired by this movie as a kid. I recently watched "The Craft" again, and after all these years it still holds up as a cool and entertaining movie. It has a interesting story and the acting is surprisingly good. You would think that for the genre this movie is placed in, it would come across as superficial and typical for an 18 to look younger hip and trendy trash flick. My favourite parts of the movie include the scenes with Fairuza Balk. She does such an incredible job as the "bad witch" with an attitude. I would love to see more of her in films to come, she's a great talent. Overall, "The Craft" beats out alot of the newer releases amazingly. You are better off watching this than renting some of the garbage out lately. Just my oppinion, hate it or love it.Movie Review: Amazingly Evil and creepy teen thriller

This movie is by far in my top 3 favorite movies of all time. It takes a lot to sit next to the all time classics, Ferris Bulers day off, and Clueless. I can't tell you how many times i've watched this movie, and by now, i know ALL the words. I got my friends hooked on it to. Nothing beats the first time you watch it though, and that impact you get from watching it a 2 in the morning with the lights off. It's not even that scaring, just creepy, and full of suspense. It's a movie you'll want to watch OVER AND OVER again. If your into the whole, backstabbing, creepy revenge of a phsyco (...)...then you'll really like this movie. I love it and it makes any DVD collection complete.Movie Review: Excellent Entertainment!

Great acting, wonderful plot, and excellent special effects. Four teen girls at a school get into witchcraft innocently enough before all goes astray. Suspensful and thrilling, wonderful for anyone who wants to get a chill. And note to all Wiccans: The girls in this movie never claimed to be Wiccans. Not all Witches are Wiccan. Television and movies are not supposed to be about real life. Just ask any doctor or nurse how "accurate" ER portrays them or a teacher how "realistically" Bostom Public portrays them. They will tell you it does not. Movies and television are not supposed to be about accuracy, but entertainment, and this movie certainly delivers.
