Summary: 5 Stars
those days (a decade or so before my birth on average) and their B style of filmaking are gone forever . along with them goes their many charms . their fashions . their relative innocence and infectious fun . the automobiles . the structures . an era in total . whatever could be concieved of could be executed by eager casts on shoestring budgets . an evident joy in brief entertainments (10) that we couldn't even begin to approximate now . whenever a filmaker endeavours to depict the times in which these films were made , they feel they must camp it up and/or ramp up the wink factor ("MATINEE" , "ED WOOD") . those are fine films both . here's the real deal . lets just hope they keep excavating these pearls . you need not have grown up seeing these pictures as a youth to appreciate their glee and resourcefulness . this is what they mean when they say WONDER .
